An afternoon game show where idiots from the general public give up their day job for the duration of the time they're cooped up in a Holiday Inn, waiting for their chance to make their fortune, and then end up making less money than if they'd just gone to work in the first place. The show is presented by Noel Edmonds (see below), and is essentially a game of chance. There are 22 boxes with values ranging from 1p to £250,000, and a player for each box. The player picks a box at random, nobody knows their value, and then starts choosing other players to open their boxes. The more high value boxes that other players open, the less likely it is that the chosen player has chosen a high value box himself. Noel Edmonds
60 year old TV presenter, originally shot to stardom as a Radio 1 DJ and then by presenting Noel's House Party. After a long period where he couldn't get on TV for love nor money, Noel is now everywhere. His return came as a result of presenting Chanel 4 show 'Deal or No Deal', which he he made seem like a skill based show, despite it actually all being complete luck. Since then he has also taken over 'Are You Smarter Than A 10 Year Old?' from Dick and Dom (see above). Thus far, it has transpired that nobody has been.
Hollyoaks
A Channel 4 soap opera, marketed at 16-25 year olds, where everybody is beautiful, and anybody over the age of 30, bar a few exceptions, gets written out to prison, Manchester, death or America. Hollyoaks is a strange place, despite being a village, it boasts a university, a nightclub, two bars, a smoothie bar, a burger van, a tanning salon and a newspaper shop. Although it is never mentioned, from observing the characters the only place to be clothes is a giant Topshop / Topman that is always slightly out of shot. Generally, plotlines and quality acting comes second to hiring attracting people who can and will show as much skin as possible, regardless of season, surroundings or adjacent family members.
